John Muruwat graduated from Howard University with Honors with a B.A in Communication. Soon after John received his Real Estate License in 2004 in Northern Virginia. He quickly found out that he had a passion of helping people achieve their dreams of owning a home. Whether getting a house sold or counseling clients in their real estate needs, John wants to give 100% commitment to his clients. To serve his clients better, John has always committed to increasing his knowledge and expertise in the real estate industry. He furthered his education by becoming an Accredit Buyer Representative in 2005 to able to represent his clients the best way possible. He is also a Graduate of Realtor Institute (GRI) which provides committed Realtors with advanced negotiation skills and tools to help buyers and sellers navigate to the complex and ever changing real estate industry. John Muruwat has worked with many team environments and was Certified Relocation Specialist with Berkshire Hathaway. John has won numerous awards for outstanding sales and customer service skills. In pursuit of furthering his education and knowledge in the real estate industry, John received his brokers license in 2013. He found the perfect team and broker support in partnering with Homesmart Realty West where he can best serve his clients.

What is a GRI Designation?
